If one of them leaves the group, would they accept a white singer as a replacement? The tribute is to the music not the skin colour. It is ilegal to recruit based on skin colour. Same goes for ABBA tribute bands and alike. Aswer please..! I bet it all goes quiet now.

There is a difference between "legal" and "real". These are not the "recording" Drifters. the guys who are actually on the original recordings. Yes, this is a legal "Drifters" act because back in the late 50's the Drifters manager trademarked the name and though he is long gone his family inherited the name for legal purposes and they have put together a number of "Drifters" bands over many years sometimes several at once. "Legal" doesn't make it any better than a Drifters tribute act no matter how good they are. They are not alone with this racket. There are "legal" versions of many bands with no original recording members. It's a shame.
